What are the common causes of obesity in cats?
Several factors are known to cause obesity among cats; the most common causes are:
Overfeeding
Imbalanced diet (diet with a lot of calories)
Lack of exercise
Castration and neutering
Hormonal imbalances
Genetics: some cat breeds are more likely to suffer from obesity than others.
